Strengthening Agency Partnerships and the Customer Experience
Security First Insurance is making strategic investments in leadership, creating new positions designed to strengthen agency partnerships and improve the customer experience. These roles reflect the company’s focus on the relationships and service that drive long-term growth across Florida.
Most recently, the company selected April Buck to fill the new Strategic Partnerships Account Manager position. In this role, she serves as a dedicated point of contact for Security First’s enterprise-level agency partners, supporting coordination across underwriting, claims, service, and operations.
Buck brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience to the position, including work with major carriers where she developed expertise in customer service, sales, claims processing, and policy management. Since joining Security First, she has served as Territory Manager for East Central Florida, working closely with agents to support growth, provide training, and build relationships across the region.

Buck’s appointment builds on a broader effort already underway. In late 2025, Security First appointed Ricardo Shelton as Customer Experience Program Manager. This new role focuses on improving the overall experience for policyholders, with Shelton leading initiatives to understand customer needs and working cross-functionally to strengthen service and claims experiences.
Shelton joined Security First in 2019 and has held several positions within the company, including Claims Adjuster and Claims Manager, before stepping into this role. That hands-on operational experience gives him a deep understanding of the interactions that matter most to customers.

These new positions reflect Security First’s continued commitment to the agents and policyholders it serves across Florida. As the company grows, investments like these strengthen the people, partnerships, and service that drive its success.
